Magic Login

Magic Login provides instant WordPress admin access to any of your environments without needing to remember passwords.

What is Magic Login?

Magic Login generates a one-time, secure URL that automatically logs you into the WordPress admin dashboard for any environment. This eliminates the need to:

• Remember multiple passwords
• Manage WordPress user credentials
• Share login credentials with team members

Using Magic Login

Each environment card has a Magic Login button (sparkle icon) in the top-right corner.

Steps:

1. Navigate to the Deploy tab
2. Find the environment card you want to access
3. Click the sparkle icon (Magic Login button)
4. A new browser tab opens with automatic login

Available Environments

You can use Magic Login for all three environments:

Environment	Button Location
Development	Development card header
QA	QA card header
Production	Production card header

Security

Magic Login URLs are:

• One-time use - Each URL works only once
• Time-limited - URLs expire after a short period
• User-specific - Generated for your authenticated session
• Logged - All magic login uses are recorded for audit purposes

Session Security

Magic Login URLs are tied to your Urumi session. If someone else obtains a magic login URL, they would still need your Urumi authentication to generate new ones.

When to Use Magic Login

Good use cases:

• Quick admin access during development
• Testing user roles and permissions
• Debugging issues that require admin access
• Reviewing content changes

For production deployments:

• Always verify you're entering the correct environment
• Use QA for testing before accessing Production admin
